What can individuals do with Solid accounts?
You can do lots of things with Solid accounts.

Well, this really depends on whether you take the view of an end-user or a company.
Here, we take the perspective of the end user.
A virtual and portable data vault
For end users, a Solid account is basically a portable and virtual data vault to which you can login using the method that you desire. The vault is virtual because your data can be stored in any of the pods that is connected to your WebID.
At use.id, we do not let users browse through their data in their pods. We do not aim to be the one stop shop for users to view and edit their data. We leave this functionality to specific applications (i.e. our customers).
Be that as it may, we do let users download all their data, get an overview of which data stores are connected and show who has access to what.
A user can get an overview of their login methods and storage locations. S/he can also connect new ones.
A user can get an overview of who has access to what kind of data. They can also decide to revoke data.
Login with your WebID
People can use their WebID to login to several different apps. Below you can see an example of how Tom can use his WebID to several of his apps.
Tom can use his WebID to login at the use.id App, the My Move app, the My Government app, etc... When he presses 'continue', he is redirected to an OIDC provider in his WebID profile doc.
Reuse data
After you have logged in, you can easily share data with this application.
John logs into My Move and decides to reuse his data. Currently, use.id provides passwordless authentication. For this method of authentication, we provide endpoints to make this journey much simpler. Please take a look at the "Onboarding Users" guide.
Get an overview of whom has access to what
Users can also take a look of what app has access to what data. They can also decide to revoke access.
You can go to use.id and view whom has access to what. You can also revoke access.
